MELINA MYLAN, CLINICAL INTERN

Melina is a compassionate and dedicated graduate intern pursuing her Master’s degree and licensing in school counseling and clinical mental health counseling at Northern Arizona University. With a strong background in education, she witnessed the connection between learning, personal development, and mental well-being–all of which shaped her approach to counseling. Her goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.

Melina supports individuals across the lifespan as they navigate a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, and grief. Her experience includes working with trauma, boundary coaching, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues.

Drawing from Person-Centered approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Melina will strive to create a supportive space where you can feel heard, valued, and empowered. She also incorporates creative modalities such as art therapy and play therapy to foster self-expression and healing.

If you’re ready to take the next step, she’d be honored to support you on your journey.
